Yeah it’s not true. The amygdala (part of the brain that controls fight or flight) when activated, signals the release of stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol, preparing the body to react to danger (or perceived danger) and the language part of the brain goes dark. That causes many to stutter or speak with a different pitch.
