15 years ago, I was coming out of a year of school phobia during which I stayed at home, and I was starting in a new class. We had a school project where we had to make short films in groups and then show them to the class. I really liked theatre and I was very invested in it. Some people in my class decided to take a recording of a moment when I was speaking and use it as their phone ringtone. So every time it rang, I would hear my own voice repeating, and everyone would laugh. I don't think I was stuttering in that moment. I was just reciting a memorized text. But I've always had a way of speaking that people consider different (probably because I'm autistic). There was a lot of mocking in that class at the time. Since then, I haven't been able to act anymore, I never did theatre or video again.
