Stutter much worse with family than with others I have a 'mildish' stutter, It's improved a lot. I can talk in complete sentences without stuttering(sometimes), but sometimes I'll completely mess up every word, but I talk REALLY fast which makes it even harder for people to comprehend me. Anyway, when I'm with my friends/co-workers/lecturers from college, I talk relatively fine most of the time(stutter here and there). The only thing they'd notice is that I talk quite fast. But when I'm with my parents/siblings, I stutter on every word/sentance. I CANNOT seem to put together a complete sentence without stuttering AND talking insanely fast. I can tell they don't like it one bit, the expressions I get from them just tells the entire story. I seriously don't understand why this is? Wouldn't you feel stutter more with your friends and less with your family? Does anyone here do anything similar?
