The title of my senior thesis in college was actually Practice What We Preach 😂 Now, granted, it was about the history and future of natural law jurisprudence in America, but that idea “practice what you preach” has always been a theme of my life and words that I really do try to live by. For better or worse it is our actions that live on, not our intentions. The greatest sin one can commit, and the greatest disservice to your name, is to fail to do as you say. If your words can’t be backed up with actions, they mean nothing. That’s why I’ve never understood the mentality of so many people who pursue these online dynamics, especially in D/s spaces. There are so many people who are looking for something real, something tangible. People who mean what they say when they express their love, when they express their loneliness, when they express their joys. It’s not “roleplay”. It never was.
