One of my faults is that I’m idealistic and I don’t always explain myself fully. We live in a “headline” world. Many folks will ready your title and not read your description. That is their fault; however, the realty is that our headlines have impact and the majority don’t read past them. It is the responsibility of the writer to realize this and create an accurate title. Your title felt a little “click baity” and it riled me up. Many people will say “neurofeedback reduces stutter by 50%” after reading your title. someone with real power to effect the field may hear someone say that and jump to their own conclusion and dismiss the field - because clearly a claim like that is not real - at least at present. Again, that is their fault. But everything matters and I’m just asking you to consider my point. I could have said “bro, make your title specific to you” but if I did that, we likely wouldn’t be having this conversation. I hope this does not upset you and it’s not your responsibility to respond to me at all. But I do see it as my responsibility to protect a burgeoning modality that already has enough trouble getting recognized as legitimate and efficacious.
