That’s right, because neurologically the brain controls all functions of our respiratory and speech systems such as breathing, laryngeal articulation etc…. Too many areas of the brain involved in the generation of speech to go into here. If there’s a dysregulation of neurotransmitters within the brain, which controls speech, motor functions etc, it’ll all be out of sync. Thus the manifestation of stuttering/stammering.
