These very brief interactions are probably the easiest type of thing to tackle, quickly. All I've found that I have to do, if I feel that I am about to stutter in a situation that's coming up... like this one you bring up - when you're walking up to the bar... is to center myself in the present moment, and then organize the words and phrases which I am planning to use, to get myself served. The quality of my silent thought voice in my mind can be all over the map... it doesn't make any difference at all. What matters is that you put together the **order** of the words or phrases.
