I'm in the UK, and I don't think the BSA run "official" groups like the NSA do. The closest group is 25 miles away, which would be fine but the times don't work for me. I could always start a group the other side of the county - now there's a challenge! Re discussing my speech with family & friends - I guess it's to do with drawing attention to my stutter. Stuttering has caused me to be deeply introverted and I hate attention for fear of being unable to speak in time with everyone else. Something else to work on! Thanks for your comment.
