I'm 32 and have stuttered my whole life. A few things that have helped me. When I can tell a certain sound or word is coming up that triggers my stutter, I try to find another word or sound to avoid it. Sometimes even saying things very wrong just to get out what Im trying to say. Also taking a deep breath and trying to relax a little can also help Don't be scared to just tell people upfront that you stutter, 99% of people are understanding and the ones that aren't, screw them that's there problem. I did get bullied a lot in school, even by teachers. But that did stop as I got older, now if someone says something about it.. I usually get pretty angry and depending on the situation I tend to snap at them on how horrible they are to take joy from mocking something I have no control over. And try to remember, that its really showing how bad of a person they are to even consider being that way, so what they say doesn't matter. I hope I helped. Best of luck.
