You don't have to do anything. "Should" is still fear-based thinking. Do you want to? I really struggled with practicing at home (I usually didn't) because everything seemed stupid and/or embarrassing. Overcoming embarrassment is probably useful too -- I always followed all rules, tried to be "good" and was afraid of doing the "wrong" thing, and I think this fear was part of why I stuttered so much then. This worked out OK (I was a really good student then) but I was happier once I learned to be less scared of other peoples' reactions and figure out for myself what I wanted to do. I'm still working on this.
