I stuttered since early childhood. My mother-in-law stuttered most of her early life. Not having children never crossed my mind. We have two adult children. Neither stuttered. We have 5 adult grandsons, one of whom has a mild stutter. It isn't so serious that it prevents him from doing stand-up comedy. Stuttering is a neurological condition.
