In response to your edit, no I'm not in America (thank God! Have you seen America lately?), I'm in the Philippines, but I'm an American citizen too so I have that option, assuming trump finally kicks the bucket and their healthcare system stops being an evil, hateful abomination that charges a grand for ear cleanings and throws you out into the street if you can't afford the ICU. The medical field is extremely competitive here. It's survival of the fittest which is why I feel that just having a stutter will disqualify me in a number of ways. I'm vaguely familiar with the "shortages" occurring there in England. Spoken to an English intern on an exchange program here about it (while lambasting trump of course). It's odd because it's absurdly difficult to gain entry there, my nursing friends hoping to transfer there complain about the ridiculous exams and low passing rates, while on the other hand youre so short on psychiatrists that any general practitioner can take on psyche patients and charge 1000 dollars an hour for it. It's bonkers. I'm actually interested to practicing in Europe, particularly the U.K., but I'm not sure I'll even get in. Germany's far more welcoming from what I've heard. Does it have something to do with Brexit?
