Does your stutter extend into your inner voice?

Does your stutter extend into your inner voice? Over the past year or so my stutter has been getting progressively intense, to the point where I now actively avoid conversations, and I spend a lot of time alone. During this time alone, I've taken to listening to a lot of various podcasts as a means to fill the silence that has become daily life. From time to time I'll find myself trying to 'imitate' the casual, free-flowing dialogue I am hearing (from the podcast) in my head, but even my "inner voice" now struggles to get certain words out. This has been happening for the past 4-5 months. Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this "mind stuttering", because after approximately 25 years of stuttering it's a first for me and frankly it's quite worrying.
