I was getting out of my dad's pickup at a video rental store when I was 4 maybe 5. I was telling him I'm sure what was a fascinating tale and kept having blocks. I remember the words he said to me were "spit it out." That's when I at least gained awareness of it. I'm unsure if I had my stutter before that.
