There is no cure for stuttering. However there are lots of well-researched practices and techniques for smoothing things out and reducing the effect it has on your communication. I have a bachelor's degree in the field so I know a bit about this, trust me. Find a speech therapist. Your insurance should cover it. I also stutter of course. At this point in my life I'm over the "why me" bullshit and have decided to say fuck it and just live my life. You have to stop caring that you stutter. And stop trying not to stutter. You are in control of how much you let it affect you. If you can show people that it doesn't bother you and is just a difference in the way you speak, they won't care either. Stuttering is a bitch but you can't go on letting it affect how you live. Just be open and confident about it with other people and they'll understand and most will treat you just as they treat anyone else.
