It's the anxiety, build up, and anticipation of going next. Try breathing techniques. Don't start words with your first breath of air out after breathing in. Instead, let a little air out and then start talking. Take a small breath after each sentence if you need to. And go slow. WHen i stuttered my mind was going a million miles an hour and I just wanted to get the words out as fast as possible and for it to be over with.
