Advice for a college instructor who teaches public speaking

Advice for a college instructor who teaches public speaking Hi! I work at a university and teach a public speaking class that is required for all freshmen. This semester a part of my job is to help train new instructors about how to work with and accommodate students who stutter. I have been meeting with SLPs, but would love to hear from anyone who took a required public speaking course in college. What did your instructor do that was helpful (or unhelpful)? Did you address your stutter with the class at the beginning of the semester? What do you wish your teacher had known about stuttering before you started the class?
