If you’re doing exposure therapy, start small first. Speak slower. Even if you block, use the pause rule and continue where you left off. Don’t force the words out if you’re stuck. It will be hard at first but if you keep practicing and exposing yourself to it, you’ll start to get comfortable and used to it. Think of it as like something new you’re learning. You slowly learn and build up any skill.
