i have this exact problem too! the worst cases for me is if im preparing to say something to someone but when im about to say it i just stand there with my mouth open trying to get the words out of my mouth. one example is when i see someone holding the door open for me im thinking "thank you" in my head but when im about to enter through i just can't say it so i fall back and either give them a handshake or nod.
