I’m in the military with a stutter and had to do comma over the radio so I feel your pain. I can keep it under control for the most part however. The military paid for a speech therapist but I’m not sure if it was the therapist or me not fully committing to her approach. If I’m calm I don’t really stutter it’s only when I’m in a stressful environment it really comes out. So she couldn’t really see what I was like when the stuttering triggered. And obviously she can’t be there at work watching me in stressful spots. So I didn’t have a really good experience with it. I felt like I was wasting time. However i am an advocate for speech therapy even if didn’t specifically help me. I’ve just learned to meditate and stay calm. Anxiety = gonna have a bad time
