The UK definition is: >You’re disabled under the Equality Act 2010 if you have a physical or mental impairment that has a ‘substantial’ and ‘long-term’ negative effect on your ability to do normal daily activities. This site suggests in the UK it can be: [https://www.stammeringlaw.org.uk/disability-equality-law/disability/](https://www.stammeringlaw.org.uk/disability-equality-law/disability/) In the UK at least it will depend on the severity. I have never seen myself as being disabled. I have seen myself as someone who has challenges that I need to overcome. I have asked for specific support from my employer and they have been accomodating. That said.. after some reflection... maybe it is just semantics.
