* Another important point from the podcast: Most people hyperventilate/ over-breathe when they are awake and under-breathe when they sleep. During the day, over-breathing leads to elevated stress-levels, causing more anxiety. I know that most of my anxiety is caused by the fear of stuttering itself, but I believe it might be elevated by this underlying anxiety when over-breathing. Focussing on deep(er) and slow nasal breathing throughout the day helps me a lot personally!
