I had a moderate to severe case of covert stuttering through college (I still do, I'm just far less covert and have more control - thanks, speech therapist). I hid it as best I could and it caused me more stress than just openly stuttering ever could have. I got myself a job in a restaurant in college and was eventually promoted to a serving position. I remember thinking, "Yay, money! Boo, so much f*cking talking!" It didn't fix my stutter or make it any more severe. It did, however, show me that I'm entirely able to successfully communicate, with or without stuttering. Based on your grammar and quality of writing, I really doubt you 'suck at talking' as you stated. It stresses you out and causes you anxiety, which is totally fair. Congrats on getting a job, that's always good news. Make yourself go and you'll find out it's not the end of the world. You will have bad days, but you will have more good days and you will be more desensitized to talking.
