For me, if I am having a very very hard time saying something and it creates an awkward situation. I want whoever is with me to finish my sentence or point. It’s a very sensitive area though. Generally I don’t like it if I’m not stuttering that badly but there’s a certain point to where it’s okay if you that person is close to you. I would ask him about it.
