>For the most part one is born Male, Female. Gender is a different story, something you develop and identify with as you grow as a person. Based on this comment, it doesn't even seem like we even super disagree (except for the thing about no one assigning your sex at birth... surely you've met a doctor before?). 'Assigned sex at birth' is a way of asking, 'what was your biological sex at birth'. I'm not sure what part of that is upsetting you. It was a way of making sure someone's identified gender didn't play a role in their answer choice, for obvious scientific data reasons.
