Once, I was at a store checkout and the cashier asked me how I wanted to pay. I froze, trying to speak, mouth wide open, eyes closed, jumping up and down. A lot of people in line came to hold me, thinking I was having a heart attack, stroke, I don't know. That day was very humiliating and significantly worsened my stuttering after that. But relax, my friend. I know it's easy to say you're not alone because I feel the same way, but we, no matter the distance, I'm Brazilian, we're not alone.
