This resonates with me. I used to find confidence in fluency, now when I tell myself it's okay to stutter, surprisingly I feel more grounded and fluent. And even if I stutter, I don't talk myself down because of it. Usually, I start with breathing in and start talking as I exhale. This gives me enough breath to speak. That being said, not all days are alike. When I am low and anxious, I stammer so bad that I can't get a single word out.
