I want to echo what /u/Donna8390 said and think you should find someone that can help her physchological health. My parents didn't know much about stuttering and I was able to hide it pretty well as I grew up so they assumed it was nothing more than a phase. They didn't know the shame and anxiety I felt on a daily basis. Stuttering affected(s) almost every facet of my life. Your daughter needs to understand that having a stutter (or blocking) does not make her less than whole. Getting her therapy will have positive repercussions in all areas of her life. You're doing a great parenting job by posting here and asking for advice by the way.
