I spent years wondering why fluent speakers don’t stutter. I found that they understand how to breathe for speech. They have an easy and continuous airflow when they speak. Stutterers have a high tension airflow causing the airflow to stop causing a block or is intermittent causing repetitive sounds. I taught myself to copy their breathing patterns resulting in more fluent speech.
