Hang in there, I’m a stutterer too. Admittedly, mine is mild, but there are definitely times of life when I would consider myself in the moderate category. I’ve only met a couple of doctors with a stutter, but I suspect there are many more. Some people do a better job of hiding it than others. First, I’m sorry you botched your interview. That’s a lot to deal with. Keep practicing, and here’s some general advice I’ve given to people who stutter or don’t: prepare five to six representative stories that highlight your candidacy. Rehearse them so you don’t have to worry about your fluency. I’ve botched interviews too. The key is to grow from each moment. I’ve done ok, I’m in dermatology residency. Keep your head up, bud.
