What do you care?? You are doing it for your self, so you could feel good about your self. Who ever makes fun of you because of that are the same people who will make fun of you for stuttering F. them! Think about it this way. Forty years from now do you want to still stutter, but being able to say “well at-least no body made fun of me going to a therapist”. Or do you want to be able to say “I used to stutter but I got therapy and now I don’t.” Therapy helped me tremendously. I worked on my self alone as well constantly and all the time, but at therapy I learned the techniques I later perfected on my own.
