Ethnicity and Stuttering-where you from?

Ethnicity and Stuttering-where you from? Hello! First post on this subreddit here. I must start off by saying: WOW. The community here is so tight and helpful. But i'm not surprised because reddit itself is such an amazing community; i'm fairly new around here. Reading people's posts on here is making me go "omg, i know right! Same with me!" for almost every post. My question or perhaps food for thought is that I am Pakistani, living in Canada. I have found that south asian males have a tendency to have a stutter. I'm comparing this of course by all the other ethnicities I am surround by. I'm from Canada, near Toronto so i'm surrounded by loads of different nationalities. My sample of course is fairly small. Me, my cousin, a family friend, some guys in highschool have stutters and are all pakistani. It's peculiar and I wonder why that is. There could be lots of variables that haven't been accounted for. Post what your ethnicity/nationality is(controversial answer to say the least) and what nationa/state(country) you reside in. I'm curious to know where you stutterers are from!
