I think either way they’re both coping mechanisms. Toxic positivity is usually a response to that person not being able to allow themselves to feel their emotions, whereas toxic negativity is like a shield against the world. Both are harmful mindsets and any stutterer should find a middle ground of self love with room to express themselves.
