Yeah, do you run into the issue of whenever you are talking about your stuttering you don’t stutter, so it makes you end up looking crazy lol. I had that option when I entered speech therapy again. I would hardly stutter towards my speech therapist, then once I was out in the real world it couldn’t even finish a half a sentence without huge blocks. Then as you are explaining this you look like a mad man back in therapy. I do that same exact foot stomping or I wave my hands. People have actually called me gay when I was younger for speaking with my hands and body so much. I used to click my tongue. It’s even more frustrating we can be fluent at times because why the hell cant we all the time. I think our lives result so often in isolation from other minorities because we don’t have that sense of community. For most things there’s so many people or if it’s racial you live with people having the same experiences you are going through.
