Haha I feel ya. I desire to be funny and charismatic too. In terms of charisma, whenever I’m talking with someone, i find it easy to repeat what someone said - which shows that I’m actively listening, but also proves to myself that I can be fluent at times. In terms of funny, it’s a skill. Being quick witted is funny. The quicker I think about a joke, and the quicker I tell the joke, the less I stutter. I also remember watching a video from like 2014 about how speaking in a singing kind of voice could improve fluency. I thought it was BS for awhile… Years later (like just a few months ago) I realized that I had actually implemented that concept, but in a much more subtle, and natural way) - that is, adopting a sort of cadence to my speech. So, I have certain cadence to the way I tell jokes. The more that cadence feels natural to me, the higher likelihood that I get the joke out fluently. But that’s just my experience. Hopefully it applies to you.
