So for context, I got a stutter from getting a stroke at age 8. I was in the hospital for a few months and had to catch up with homework at home before going back to school the following year. The most embarrassing stutter moment was when I was 9, I just got back to school. I had to read a paragraph in class and I started stuttering. This was the first time my classmates heard my stutter and they all laughed. Bullying ensued a few years later :/
