The biggest mistake I see with therapists treating stuttering is that the therapist focuses on ONE treatment approach. The therapy plan should be a collaboration between the speech therapist and client. The therapist should use pieces and parts of stuttering treatment to “Frankenstein” the treatment approach for the client.
