Fantastic comment! My goal is to make the topic of approach-avoidance conflict more open to discussion.. :) what you mentioned about "based on the environment" aligns perfectly with my point (in that, what is it that we don't know about the approach-avoidance conflict whether or not we notice environmental or rather psychosocial cues). While I agree that we cannot disregard the role of genetics and neurology, and also we cannot eliminate our genetics/neurology, I argue that we should focus on addressing aspects we *cán* change
