I'm currently seeing a speech therapist and I'm 29. We couldn't afford it growing up, and thankfully the one I'm seeing now is covered by the government. It's changed my life with my stutter. I don't feel like a hostage to it anymore. It's still a work in progress and of course i still stutter and have blocks daily, but I can live with it alot more comfortably then I used to. If you don't have access to this therapy, I'd say you can look up YouTube videos of speech therapists who provide strategies, or maybe in your country there is a stutter association which will have really good resources and support groups
