I'm probably one of those rare stutters who does it even when I'm alone, talking to myself. I've also tried it on talking with pets (still stutter), and I always try to remember whether or not I stutter in my dreams (I do, most stutters don't). Then again, I've also stuttered while singing, which is supposed to be like Deus Ex Machina for fluency.
