I am a life long stutterer and I have my bachelors and masters in chemistry. My thesis defense to my peers wasn't a fun experience, but I was able to get through it. I have been employed for the past 2 years in the private sector. One thing I did was to not read off of the slides, and instead use them as talking points. I use a lot of substitution so if I have to use the exact words I see it is challenging.
