Whenever I have to introduce myself to someone, I am generally mortified with the entire situation. Saying my name always, without fail, brings out the worst stutter in me. There were a couple times I can think of that I even resorted to saying a different name just so I wouldn't have to go through the embarrassment. Even after years of speech therapy, I still can't get a hold on controlling my stutter when introducing myself.
