Not going to tell you it won’t be hard, it can get hard for sure but don’t ever give up. You can go to military school or any higher education with a stutter. You can work and form meaningful relationships with a stutter. The more you put yourself out there, the easier it will be. Don’t hate on yourself and don’t associate with those that make fun of you. Stuttering sucks but everyone has things that make life hard for them. Ours just happens to be more obvious than others. If you are really uncomfortable speaking to people start small. Call places and ask what time they are open until or any random question. When I first started doing this I got hung up on A LOT. But keep going, it gets easier. Then move to asking questions to people in person. Build yourself up to it. Never never hate on yourself or call yourself stupid (not saying you do but I did this for a REALLY long time and it made things worse). Keep pushing forward even when it’s hard and especially when it sucks. Failure is only permanent if you give up.
