I hate this too. It's a common thing to hear "don't finish their sentences" on educational materials about how to make people who stutter feel welcome, so I wish more people were educated about our disability. I always let people know not to do it, if I get a chance. It just humiliates me to have my sentence finished, and if they guess wrong it takes more time and effort to say the whole thing over again.
