For me, I block and stretch mostly. What has helped is relaxing my shoulders and slowing down the situation. Then remembering to suck in a healthy amount of air and let it (and the words) slowly out. When I stumble or get stuck, to try to forget it as quickly as possible. I also put in a few ehhhhhh .... when I'm thinking to let the person know that something is coming -- so don't interrupt!
