A quick rundown of the diagram (that I created): See [screenshot](https://i.imgur.com/OK5Md88.png): In this diagram I convey the message: * *(genetics: but we cannot control genetics)* * Then, our experiences and values (the most underlying primary core - at least, that we have somewhat control over) * Helplessness attitude * Based on the helplessness attitude, we start looking through a distorted lens: Based on this, we develop a negative attitude * Based on that - we then associate environmental (or psychological) factors with the panic response (or with the avoidance-approach mechanism) * Based on that - we develop the avoidance-approach mechanism (such as fear of negative evaluation.. I didn't write this in earlier 'blocks', because if we step back and think about it, we don't have any incentive YET to evaluate experiences negatively (as the distorted lens is missing).. in other words, this diagram shows that the previous 'blocks' underlie and predispose '**fear of negative evaluation**' * Panic response (which triggers a silent block)
