Haha, that’s just the nature of stuttering, it can be unpredictable and sometimes explaining it even reduce the pressure enough that you don’t stutter right then. You definitely don’t “owe” anyone stuttering to justify your explanation. You were just being open and setting the stage for moments where it might happen, and that’s absolutely okay.
