Some things work for some people and not others. My mom used to stutter very severely, it took over her life up til sometime in her 20s. Some anxiety medication fixed it, very simply. I stutter, and through the past 20ish years I've gone through years of therapy, tried dozens of different medications, have yet to find anything that works or helps. I'm glad your son has found something that helps though, it can be really rough otherwise.
