Saying "hello"

Saying "hello" I find it difficult to say "hello" when answering the phone. I have nervousness at answering a phone call anyway because I'm going to be communicating with another person and will have to talk. Then on top of that I know it's hard for me to say "hello," so that compounds the nervousness. And I just lock up. I'll push the button to answer the phone, and then I struggle to get out the word "hello" for at least five seconds. It's quite embarrassing. Maybe I can just answer "this is Paul speaking," but that seems awfully professional for a personal cell phone. Goddammit I just want to talk fluidly!
