I have always been the class clown to some varying degrees. Comedy is all in timing, well shocking people is all in timing, which can yield comedy and that's exactly what I took advantage of. In recent years my sense of humor has diminished for varying reasons, now I rarely act out, say goofy things or playfully be a smart ass. But yes, it used to help too and definitely got me friends and social status
